# Attorney Irvin V. Cantor Named In Virginia Lawyers Hall Of Fame Inaugural Class
        
### Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fames Selects Small Group of Distinguished Attorneys
 
[Attorney Irvin V. Cantor](https://virginiatrialfirm.com/attorneys/irvin-v-cantor/) has recently been admitted to the Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame, established by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. In addition to being age 60 or older, those named had to demonstrate various aspects of their practice in order to qualify for consideration, including:
 
 - Career accomplishments
 - Role in improving the practice of law in Virginia
 - Contributions to the state and national bar
 - Contributions to the state of Virginia
 - Contributions to the quality, accessibility, and administration of justice in the community
 
 
In total, only 33 members were named in this inaugural class. The induction ceremony and celebration took place in Richmond on June 12, 2018, at the John Marshall Hotel.
